Meet Ariana!
We are pleased to introduce Ariana! A native of Central Pennsylvania, Ariana is a current student at Cumberland Valley Virtual Academy through Mountain View Middle School.
A typical teenager who loved sports, in particular softball and basketball, Ariana realized that there was something not quite right about the level of discomfort she was feeling in her left leg. In the spring of 2023 Ariana was diagnosed with a form of bone cancer, known as Osteosarcoma. Many doctor and hospital visits later, she was recovering from surgery to remove her left leg above the knee.
As Arian navigates this new life, she is nothing but a superstar! She endures all of the challenges that come with the journey of living with a prosthetic. And, she has discovered a new sport- Golf!

Meet Mason!
We are pleased to introduce all of you to Mason. Mason is a current high school student in a school district in southern Lancaster County.
Mason enjoys football, hunting, and fishing. Even though Mason suffered a horrific farming accident in June 2022 that took both of his legs above the knee, he maintains a positive outlook and stays light-hearted.
Mason is truly an impressive young man with whom Doug would have been proud to mentor. We are so encouraged by Mason’s tenacity and zest for life. And, we are hopeful that Doug’s Legacy will live on through Mason.
If you would like to support Mason with a one-time or ongoing contribution, please fill out the following form to get in touch with us.
Beginning this year (2022), August 8th is officially known as “Doug’s Legacy” on the Lebanon Country Club Golf Calendar @ Lebanon Country Club: Pennsylvania Golf.
